He teaches English, advises the school newspaper, and is webmaster at Judge Memorial Catholic High School in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is the technology liaision for the The Utah Writing Project (UWP). He has been known to troll pawn shops in search of the elusive perfect guitar.

Would the integration of audio texts help students become better readers or at least improve their attitude toward reading? Would the recording and publishing of students' original audio essays help them become better writers or at least improve their attitude toward writing? Would the reading/writing gains of students who consider themselves frequent audio users (or audiophiles) be more, less, or the same as compared to those students who consider themselves infrequent audio users?
